host its annual Blanca Fest in Alamosa, CO in Cole Park.
Blanca Fest is an all-day communal get together for hikers,
families, and nature enthusiasts to hike the best trails,
peaks, and cultural sites the San Luis Valley and Sangre de
Cristo range have to offer. After a day of hiking, attendees
can kick back and relax with an evening of entertainment
including, live music, food, beverages, and lots more.
The free guided tours are geared towards hikers of all ages
and abilities. So invite your family and friends to
spend a day in the mountains with a 360 degree view of
beautiful scenery. The tours include the Colorado Historic
Society's Historic Sacred Circle tour, Zapata Lake and Falls
tour, Sand Dunes/Bison tour, and fly fishing on the Rio
Grande.
