I grew up in a safe, remote, country lifestyle. My home was a small 2-bedroom house at the foot of mountain peaks in southern Colorado. Daily I experienced mountain views, remote country living, wildlife, and peace of mind.
Growing up in a safe, remote mountain area was not only an incredible learning experience about nature and life, it was the best playground a child could have. We had horses, motorcycles, fishing lakes, and camping gear. When I was not working, I was having the time of my life.
As an adult, I still enjoy fly-fishing, mountain scenery, and exploring mountain backcountry. I especially enjoy listening to it snow in a remote, quiet mountain setting. It gives me a special spiritual calmness.
Year-round, every day is a new day of adventure and experiences in Colorado. There are millions upon millions of acres of public land in Colorado waiting to be seen, experienced, and explored.
