I
grew up in a small
2-bedroom house on a
remote mountain
resort development
in southern
Colorado.
Daily I experienced
mountain views,
remote country
living, wildlife,
and a peace of mind.
Growing up in the
remote mountains was
not only an
incredible learning
experience, it was
the best playground
a child could have.
We had horses,
motorcycles, fishing
lakes, and camping
gear. When I was not
working, I was
having the time of
my life.
It was 22 miles to
the small country
town where I went to
school. My classroom
consisted of 14
students. It was 40
miles to the closest
major town with a
large grocery store,
bank, and one movie
theater. We lived a
remote, country
life. The closest
neighbor was 3 miles
away.
My Grandfather owned
large cattle ranches
and farms. Between
the ages of 5 and
12, I would spend
time during the
summers on my
grandfather's cattle
ranch in New Mexico.
I still treasure the
memories and lessons
this way of life
taught me. This was
the good, old
fashion way of life,
where everyone,
including the
children, had daily
chores. There were
cattle to check,
fences to mend, eggs
to collect, and
horses to feed.
All of my life,
working seven days a
week and on holidays
has been common.
This is the way I
was raised and the
values I have.
As an adult, I
still enjoy
fly-fishing,
mountain views, and
exploring mountain
backcountry. Every
day is a new day of
adventure.
I especially
enjoy listening to
it snow in a remote,
quiet country
setting. It gives me
a special spiritual
calm.

I am offering you
the chance to have
the same wonderful
experiences with
this property.
May this property
bring you happiness
and lifelong
memories. |
